
Tanya is a pension fund leader and founder of an advisory and coaching practice that applies systems thinking to the challenges institutional investors face today. She partners with pension funds, asset owners, private equity managers, and industry associations. In her work, she helps leadership teams understand and leverage the interconnections across people, strategy, and capital so they can design organizations that thrive in dynamic environments.
Tanya previously led a $12B private equity fund portfolio and global investment team as Managing Director and Head of Global Funds, Equities at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. In this role Tanya created an Impact Forum that worked across asset classes, and sponsored OTPP’s first commitments to an impact fund (2019) and a climate-focused fund (2021). Tanya also served as Board Member and Chair of the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA), a member-based organization serving over 600 LPs; and was a member of the UN PRI Private Equity Steering Committee. Tanya currently serves as a Director of the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO).
