Eoin Ó hÓgáin – Partner, CIO

Eoin has 25 years of experience in energy and climate investments. During the past 8 years as CIO at Power Sustainable, he helped build a 80-person team and raise $4bn for climate-focused private markets strategies.

Eoin leads the investment team and process, working with Patrick to ensure consistent implementation and continual improvement of all aspects of our investment process. Eoin also works with Tom on the design of our value creation process and systems, and engages actively with the design, oversight and implementation of manager-specific plans.

• Co-founder & CIO of Power Sustainable (from launch to $4bn AuM)
• Strategic initiatives at Power Corporation (incl. Great-West Lifeco)
• Portfolio Manager, State Street Global Advisors ($2bn energy portfolio)
• Leader in McKinsey’s Global Energy, Utilities & Cleantech practice 
• Early career: Investment banker, Morgan Stanley (focused on energy & utilities)
• Education: MBA, Harvard Business School; BBS & French, Trinity College Dublin.

When he is not helping scale climate finance, Eoin enjoys long walks, history podcasts and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
